The True Sovereign King
/All kings have sovereignty over their subjects. However, only one King has sovereignty over eternity. Any king can affect the lives of his people. But only one King can give eternal life. All kings dine with the rich, the wealthy, and the powerful. But only one King dines with poor, and powerless criminals. He is the king above all kings, the Son of God, and the only name that saves. He is King Jesus!

What we think about Kings comes from fairy tales; that they are fictional, kind, and forbearing. However, most historical kings are portrayed as alive, cruel, and uncaring. A king is meant to be a leader, the protector of his kingdom. But after centuries of indulgence,
most are cowardly, lazy, and loathsome. Still, what all kings have in common is status, power, and sovereignty. Unrestrained privilege and dominion; their golden rule: It's all about me. But I serve another kind of King, He has no beginning and no past. His power comes from His mercy, and He calls the first to be last. His throne isn't in a palace, although He too has sovereignty. He uses His unequaled power to serve the sinner, the poor, and the needy.
He is God's word become flesh, the firstborn among many. The Great I am come to earth to
reestablish His world of plenty. He came to turn the world upside down. To give the least the right to be first. To show us that love is the only power that can bring heaven to earth. He insists that we love our enemy. More so that enemies shouldn't exist. For we are actually one family torn apart by an ancient rift. My king leads only by example, He first lived what He asks us to follow. For He knows trust only comes from demonstration when promises have turned out to be hollow.
I met my king when I was desperate for love. And now I have love abundantly. I have given my whole life to Him, in return, He has given me eternity. He has shown me that He is faithful, for whenever I need Him He's there. And He shows me unconditional love by drawing nearer when I'm in despair. My king has sovereignty over my life. He is the example of who I strive to be. And until I became His willing slave, I knew nothing about how to be free. He can be your sovereign King too..Your life can be turned upside down. It can be you of whom the angels sing when they rejoice for the one who's been found. You need only kneel to Him in repentance and ask Him to forgive all of your sins. And before you even get to Amen, He'll say, "Welcome home sinner! Please come on in.
